Detective Lazarus Dimas doesn’t play by the rules. On the streets, he’s a force to be reckoned with, a dangerous man with a badge and a gun. But he does have a soft spot — the sexy assistant district attorney Journey Ramsey. There is something about the woman he can’t shake. She’s irresistible and off limits. At least that’s what he keeps telling himself, but one kiss leads to others and well…so much for limits.
Journey plays by the rules, normally. But she can’t deny the sexual tension that sparks whenever Laz is near, even when he puts her professional integrity at risk. Laz is complex. The type of man fathers warn their daughters about. Yet, there’s a gentle, vulnerable side to him that he lets no one see except her, and she can’t resist him.
Can Laz prove he’s the man for Journey before a reopened case exposes his true colors? Or will the danger they face show that the love they share knows no boundaries?
*Indebted is book 2 in the Atlanta's Finest Series, but can be read as a standalone.
**Indebted was previously published in the box set Breaking Bad as a novella. For those who read the novella, this is Laz and Journey's complete (full-length) story. This is also an interracial romance (BWWM).

This book can be read as a stand alone. This book contains adult content and is recommended for readers over 18.

This book is quite simply AMAZING!!! A relatively short read that gave a little bit of EVERYTHING! I need book two in my hands NOW!
If you like a little darkness, a lot of sexy and a passionate, determined, albeit very sweet heroine, then make this your next read!!!
When Quinn Montgomery leaves the horrors of her past behind her, she never expects to run straight into the arms of a blue-eyed cowboy. Sneaking into the stables and getting caught in a life-threatening fire was never part of the plan. And neither was falling in love with the man who saved her life, Brody Parker.
The two share an undeniable connection, and slowly Quinn begins to open up about her past. Putting her trust in the wrong person has burned her before, so when Brody asks her to stay at the ranch, she can't help but wonder if she’s about to make another bad decision by staying. A decision that could hurt everyone she’s come to care for.
Will Quinn choose to run from the past that threatens to catch up with her? Or will she stay and fight, sacrificing whatever it takes for the man who sets her heart on fire?
Book 3 in the Healing Hearts series. This book can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading them in the order they were written, because if you are like me, you will itching to read Brody’s story.
Having escaped the recent tragedy of her life, Quinn Montgomery arrives in Marble Falls ready for a new life and fresh start. When a local tips her off about a job, she decides to head that way not knowing the changes that lay ahead.
When Brody Parker saves a stranger from his families burning barn, he feels an intense connection with her. Brody isn’t known for forming any kind of connection, except in the bedroom, so the feelings that Quinn stirs in him are unexpected and new.
Two strangers drawn to each other, even though neither are looking for love. But sometimes love hits at the most unexpected time. The question is… do you fight for it? Or do you continuing running?
I have really looked forward to Brody’s book from the start of this series. There is always that one character the peaks your interest, and Brody was that character for me. Cocky, free-spirited, but a kind soul… I couldn’t wait to meet the girl that would capture his wandering heart, and Quinn didn’t disappoint. She had to be an out of towner, and she had to have that something in her that provoked a side to Brody that he didn’t know existed; and she certainly has all of that going on. But apart from all the drama that surrounds her, she is just so sweet. As much as she bowls Brody over, he does that right back to her. Don’t get me wrong… this isn’t an insta-love, but it is definitely insta-lust and attraction. They knock each other off their axes, and adding in the drama you have a very enjoyable read.
Well done Laura! These great books keep coming. I wonder where you will take us next, as this series looks to be at its natural conclusion. I will be looking forward to it though. Your writing continues to develop and each story has a new pace with some added spice. You manage to do this with a flow that keeps the storyline engaging and characters likeable. A great little series!
Daisy. They say eyes are the windows to the soul. I thought that was bullshit until I saw hers. Huge doe eyes that should have sparkled with happiness and laughter were dead and lifeless. That was the moment that changed everything. Two random meetings, nine emails, four days and a broken Angel that changed my entire world.Angel.Such a silly name for a beautiful boy. Daisy is the saviour I crave and the safety I haven't felt in years. My world is spinning out of control but he's the salvation that can keep me alive -- if I'll let him. Two random meetings, nine emails, four days and a broken boy that brought me back to life.
Book 2 in the Archer’s Creek MC series. You don’t have to read Echo to enjoy Daisy, but if you want to get stuck into a book knowing the backdrop and some of the characters I highly recommend you do.
Daisy has been a prospect in the Doomsday Sinners MC for the last 18 months. Loyal to his club and brothers, they are his family and he loves everything that they represent. Women come and go easy for Daisy, he is young, like’s variety and spreading the love… and then he meets an Angel.
Angelique is the daughter of the Mayor of Archer’s Creek, and knows she must stay away the MC member that she recently crossed paths with. She has lived a sheltered life due to her father’s increasing control over her, but now 18, she hopes she will be able to escape her prison and go to college. But her father has other ideas and her plans may need to change.
I really enjoyed this book. Having read Echo, I had already met Daisy. When I found out that his book would be next I was intrigued to see where Gemma would go with it. In the opposite direction is where. She has shook it up, changed pace and given us a very captivating storyline.
There is nothing that I love better than opposites attracting to make perfection. Daisy… That man. I knew very early in the book that he would hold my heart and I wasn’t wrong. He is your typical biker but Angel really brings something out of him and the gentleness he has for her made me swoon. As for Angel, well she surprised me. She had an inner strength that you slowly see kick in as the story progressed, and I believe that is not just due to Daisy, but also because of the MC brother’s unwavering loyalty to Daisy and the connection he has for Angel.
I can imagine that as much as a debut is nerve-wracking that the follow up must be even worse. Was the first book a fluke? Will everyone hate this one? Well I can wholeheartedly say that no nerves are needed by Gemma Weir. I think this book proves that Gemma has genuine talent. The progression in her writing, depth of characterisation and tempo change shows that this author has a lot more in the tank, and I can’t wait to see where she takes us next.
If you are looking for a MC read that is about connection between 2 strangers that couldn’t be more different, Daisy is a MUST READ!
He’s neat, always on time, and a professed workaholic. I’m chaotic, always running late, and looking for more from life than just my job. Yet our mutual attraction is undeniable.
The last thing I expected after our first date was to have Simon show up at my office. The warm and funny guy I’d met was now gone, replaced by the cold and calculating man in an impeccable suit. While my professional future is in his hands, I can’t stop thinking about how his hands felt on my body.
Whatever had started between us can’t possibly happen now, but that’s easier said than done. Because the more I try not to think of his sexy smirk or delicious accent, the harder it is to stay away. And if our forbidden office kiss is any indication, his resolve is slipping too.
I’ve sworn I’d never fall for a man who puts his job first.
Too bad my heart isn’t listening.
*** Without Apology is a standalone romance for mature audiences due to steamy bedroom scenes that are in no way contained to just the bedroom.***
Without Apology is a standalone romance that is unrelated to any previous titles by Aubrey Bondurant.
Peyton is a workaholic. Would she like to settle down and pop out a few kids… without doubt, but her life revolves around her job and it leaves little time to meet the perfect man. So when she bumps into a sexy Brit in her quiet corner of Texas she jumps at the chance of a date. Simon is hot and it looks that she could have met someone that could distract her from work… little does she know.
Simon’s only commitment in his life is his work. Lots of work and very little play, along with constant travelling around the US on different projects means the only meaningful relationship he has is with his PA Emma. After a mix-up with a bottle of Champagne he meets a woman that makes him smile. After one date he decides it’s time to make time in his schedule to get to know her better. A distraction from the latest acquisition and the stress that involves… and then someone unexpected turns up to his meeting.
Will two workaholics remain professional? Or will lines be blurred in the quest to find someone special?
So Aubrey has stepped away the brilliant “Something” series to give us a completely new story. I imagine it has been a super nervous journey. A journey where she has said goodbye to characters that we have been emotionally invested in with the hope that she can create a new world with characters we will also fall in love with. I have to say I was a tad nervous when I started it. Happily though I have finished it with a smile on my face, and with the usual anticipation for Aubrey’s next book.
Without Regret is a really good read. I loved both Peyton and Simon, as well as the other characters. The story really centres on the age old problem of finding the perfect work/life balance, and we join the journey as Peyton and Simon are forced to find a way to achieve this; and at times it isn’t straight forward. As I would expect from Aubrey, there are lots of laughs along the way but Aubrey has ensured that these characters stories has meat on the bone. There is a deeper background to both of them that really comes into play in the present, and so although this is an easy read, it isn’t a fluffy hearts and flower story.
Well done Aubrey! Another great book that is a must read for both your fans and anyone looking for a new 1-click author to fangirl over. Roll on Emma’s book!
Growing up, Carrie was Ethan’s one true love, his fixation and his constant obsession. Friends to the bloody end, they were each other’s rocks whilst navigating through their dark and monstrous childhoods together. But then Carrie died and Ethan was almost destroyed by the secrets that were revealed in her wake.
It’s now fifteen years later and Carrie is back from the dead… and Ethan is forced to confront a truth he’s tried to deny himself for all these years.
With his obsession renewed, the situation rapidly spirals out of control as their story escalates towards a dark and startling conclusion. Because now Ethan has a singular focus;Keep the girl, no matter what the consequences!
The truth should set you free, but what happens when the truth is the one thing that can destroy you? Can Ethan’s obsession for the girl he’s always loved ever really be more than that? Or is the idea of her the only thing left to fight for… because perhaps, the illusion of Carrie was the only thing he ever really had.
“Carrie was a victim, and her circumstance was life. And mine was thinking I could ever save her.”Ethan Cowells
Beautiful Victim is one of those books that lures you in, pulls you deep within its clutches and doesn’t let go.
There are no heroes here, only broken souls created through unjustified evil perpetrated by others; a puppet on a string, dictating, luring, causing unspeakable actions, as innocence shatters.
Carrie and Ethan’s story is no fairy-tale but a darkened and shocking view into a dirty window. A deeply dark and twisted tale as past and present collides where lies, secrets and crimes take their toll on the once innocent, paving way for a life shrouded in destruction and toxicity.
It could have been so different for these kids, and this story with the way it is so beautifully written is the perfect thriller. You feel for the characters, despise them even, hate others, think you have them worked out, then you start to question everything only then to have the proverbial rug pulled from beneath your feet wondering what the hell just happened.
Victim turned monster, Saviour turned criminal. Both broken. Both a victim of life circumstance. Both trying to find freedom in a jaded world, but it comes at a price, that is until you realise… you’ve never really been free at all.
I can’t go into a full story overview because it would be an injustice, you must get inside Ethan’s mind and travel this journey alone. Granted it’s not always pretty but my goodness, was it a page-turner and trust me when I say this is one story you won’t forget in a hurry!!
Dale knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Cindy from the first moment he saw her. Forty years later, nothing has changed. She is his best friend, his soul. Instead, she opts for a surgical procedure that will end her hopes of conception. The surgery, unlike her fertility, is straight forward and safe. The hospital, Kendal Slate Memorial, is reputable. Four individuals. One hospital ignoring the truth. In this case, what you don’t know can kill you.
One month of fun with no feelings. That was the plan.
After a run of bad luck, chemical engineer Penny Popplestone swears off men until she can figure out why they keep cheating on her. Which is—of course—when the superhumanly hot barista at her favorite coffee shop decides to kiss her out of the blue.
It seems too good to be true because it is: Caleb’s moving out of state in a month. Tired of always being “good little Penny,” she throws caution to the wind and embarks on a no-strings fling with the hottie barista. With nothing in common and only a few weeks to spend together, she figures it’ll be easy to avoid getting too attached.
She figured wrong.
Now, this fanfic-reading, plus-size heroine faces an unsolvable problem. What do you do when being apart is unbearable…but being together is impossible?

From the USA Today and Internationally bestselling author of The Club Series, Lauren Rowe, comes a sexy standalone romantic comedy: Ball Peen Hammer.
Keane Morgan wouldn’t return any of my calls or texts, and I was pissed as hell about it. I didn’t want to drive from Seattle to L.A. with the guy any more than he wanted to drive with me, but I had no frickin’ choice in the matter--at least, not if I wanted to use his brother Dax’s coveted parking spot at UCLA.
Okay, so it turned out Keane was objectively gorgeous, and, fine, pretty funny, too. But did he have to be so damned in love with himself? I mean, jeez, the cocky way he flashed those dimples was just so orchestrated. And, honestly, what kind of guy uses the phrase “baby doll” with a straight face? Oh, that’s right: the kind of guy who’s a male stripper.
Yup, the cocky jerk turned out to be Seattle’s answer to Magic Mike, a stripper known as “Ball Peen Hammer”--which meant Keane Morgan was emphatically not the kind of guy I’d ever fall for.
Not. At. All.
No freakin’ way.
Well, until Keane convinced me to fall for him, that is.
Which I did.
NOTE:Ball Peen Hammer is a full-length, standalone sexy romantic comedy about Keane Morgan (one of four Morgan brothers introduced in The Club Series) and Maddy Milliken (the little sister of Hannah Banana Montana Milliken). This book is a standalone book in The Morgan Brothers Series, a spin-off of THE CLUB SERIES, and can be read as a complete standalone. The Morgan Brothers books are intended to be read in any order.
Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.
I’m officially a pickle that wants to jump out the jar and embrace the crazy that is Keane ‘peenie’ Morgan. That sexy little shit just rendered this nearly 40 year old speechless… and turn into a mushy pile to goo.
I don’t know whether to jump his bones or make him lasagne like his ‘Momma’ used to make, all I know is I totally adore him!
This book is the perfect, light-hearted, off-the-wall, bat-shit-crazy escapism I needed.
Being completely honest… at first I wasn’t sure. The very Americanised OTT Jock style dialogue didn’t sing to me in the first couple of chapters, and then it just clicked when an older Brother jumped into the conversation and I literally rolled. I will forever love Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum fuck for as long as I shall live. From then on this comedic offering proved that Lauren Rowe is truly a literary genius. I’m pretty sure she’s a young male testosterone infused jock disguised in a hot woman’s body, (I’ve met her, shes great) because how she managed to portray these characters in the manor she did was incredible.
It’s been a while since I’ve really laughed out loud reading a book whilst in the same breath been enamoured by a YA/NA storyline. I need to read more from this author because I LOVED this book.
Everything about it was sexy, fun and refreshing whilst holding on to those deep fundamentals that still make a person good inside. Both Keane and Maddy made this trip entertaining and I loved spending my Sunday with them both.
…I feel this is one fictitious family I could love the most.
Thank you Emma for being on my case about The Morgans, I regret not reading this sooner!

Jackson - Son of a wealthy, abusive man finds peace in art. Whether that art be on his body or walls, it gives him an outlet.Summer – A woman in mourning, finds peace in the arms of her friend.Together they can fight their demons, they can put the past behind them – or can they? Can two broken people have the love they both desire? Or will dangerous, harmful outlets and loss forever consume them?
Jackson is a standalone with The Passion Series.
Angsty romance for over 18’s. This novel contains scenes that could be a trigger for some. Please feel free to contact the author or refer to the Trigger Warning section on the author’s website – www.TraciePodger.com
Jackson is a wonderfully written story of two good people finding shelter and love in one another whilst battling hurt and the inner demons that plague them.
Jackson is such a deep, beautiful multifaceted character that his moods and actions not only gave me the proverbial whiplash but had my heart hurting. Child abuse is never an easy subject and it is touched upon sympathetically here through clever writing, although the impact it creates for our main protagonist is devastating, making Jackson volatile and self-destructive.
His outlets are private, hidden behind his stern inked-up bad-boy exterior – only a select few know what Jackson is really trying to overcome and helping him in anyway they can, but his one balm, that one saviour is his best friend’s grieving widow, Summer.
Summer had it all; a nice apartment, a husband she loved and the best friend a girl could ever ask for, until one night changed everything proving all she ever believed was a lie.
Trying to overcome the ultimate betrayal has been hard but her solace comes in her best friend; he is her rock, his arms cradle her pain, the connection they share the only thing that keeps her grounded… yet what happens when that rock leaves without a word? No trace. No indication of running leaves Summer baffled and upset.
Jackson’s triggers are becoming harder to deal with, he had to leave for her sake as he moves from the busting life of London city to the warmth and golden sands of California, starting anew even as he mourns for the woman he can never have.
Summer does not do running away, as she follows Jackson to California in the hope of answers and reconciliation, but what she finds is the real man, the one who has been hiding in the shadows of his own personal hell…and it’s just about to be unleashed!
What a book this was!! Jackson will destroy you before slowly putting you back together again.
Summer is a broken heroine facing a monumental dilemma when the friend she falls in love with proves her biggest challenge yet.
This is a story of pain, and yet from it born something profoundly beautiful.
If you love romances with grit, a touch of danger and anti-heroism with sex appeal off the charts, then yeah… Jackson is your next read!!!

I was lucky enough to meet Lauren Rowe last weekend. Having loved Captain and in particular Ball Peen Hammer, I gushed to her about how amazing they were. She promised me that I would LOVE this book, and man she wasn’t wrong.
If you have read any of Lauren’s books then you will know that she has the most engaging way of writing. Her characters are totally loveable, and the humour she weaves into her plots makes the story suck you in. I can’t put into words how much I adored this book. It has everything I love in a read, but the best thing, it has two characters that were so refreshing and for want of better words… damn bloody cute!!
If Lauren is a new author for you then this book is a great of way of popping your cherry (excuse the pun) I think it really highlights everything that I love about her writing. With humour, romance, hot sex, and a great storyline, you really won’t regret it!
My mom always said it was just something about the way he moved.
The same swagger Archie Valentine wore in the ring when he took his opponents down followed him like a halo everywhere he went. But make no mistake about it—he was no angel. He was like a drug. My mother was his addict.
I never understood it…how love could make you blind and convince you to drink the poison. Not until I met Memphis Delaney.
At first, it was the familiar form. He’s a fighter, built like a god from the past, the kind of man the universe doesn’t make anymore. His eyes hide a story, and every time I’m in his presence I want to keep reading him until I get to the end. And then…there’s the way he moves. His boxing is violent but beautiful, and his body is a seductive weapon. When he’s in the ring, he wears the stare of a man committed to the battle until his very last breath.
He could end me; turn me into her. Too much of him will leave me as a shadow, and I’ve lost so much of myself already.
But I have discipline. It came the hard way. Lessons learned, scars left behind, and trust stripped away from life.
I will breathe his air, but I won’t fall for a man like him. The only boxer who’s ever going to break my heart is the one who gave me my name.
To everyone in town, Abel Adams was the devil's spawn, a boy who never should have been born. A monster.
To twelve year-old Evie Hart, he was just a boy with golden hair, soft t-shirts and a camera. A boy who loved taking her picture and sneaking her chocolates before dinner. A boy who made her feel special.
Despite her family's warnings, she loved him in secret for six years. They met in empty classrooms and kissed in darkened church closets. Until they couldn't.
Until the time came to choose between love and family, and Evie chose Abel.
Because their love was worth the risk. Their love was the stuff of legend.
But the thing about legends is that they are cautionary tales. They are made of choices and mistakes. And for Abel and Evie, the artist and the muse, those mistakes come in the form of lights, camera, sex.
NOTE: This is NOT a paranormal or a priest romance.
‘Some husbands bought their wives flowers, others bought jewellery. Mine? He returned the things he stole.’
I should have known better. Hot guys didn’t hit on big girls without an agenda. They didn’t approach them in bars and talk their way into your bed. They also didn’t make you feel beautiful and proud of your curves. But I was going through a dry spell—actually, I’d kind of been going through a dry spell all my life—and dry spells sucked. Of course I slept with him.
I was such a fool.
I believed his lines. Fell for his easy smile; the man swept me off my feet, rocked my world, then robbed me blind.
I really needed a three date rule.
Angry and embarrassed, I engaged the help of my best friend to track the thief down and make him return what he took. But when I found him, he wasn’t alone....
What does a girl do when she finds not one thief, but an entire family?
Lauren Harper wanted four things.Respect. Success.Happiness.And to annihilate Roman Pierce.
Sure, he was a smooth, smart and sexy attorney who made the senior partners at their law firm cream their pants. But he was also an annoying cocky jerk who she’d been competing with since they had both been hired over a year ago.
And Lauren didn’t care how amazing his smile was or how hot his body was underneath that suit—the firm-sponsored fun run had a lot to answer for—he was a ruthless, ambitious prick who would stop at nothing to climb the corporate ladder. He’d even climb over her given half the chance. Sadly, she’d probably enjoy that.
No. That wasn’t what she was supposed to be thinking. She did not want him climbing over or under her, or doing anything else to her. He was the enemy. Destroying him was the only option.
Wiping that smug, beautiful grin off his gorgeous, obnoxious face, a bonus.
Now, if she could just keep her objective in check and obliterate him before he did the same to her.
Undefeated is a story of strength and determination whilst grappling with the possibility of failure.
A dream can only come true if you work hard and make certain sacrifices, that eventually help pave way for success. Nick Renshaw is no stranger to working hard. Finally it’s paying off and he’s in a good place – A new contract for a premiership rugby league club in the bag and a fiance on his arm; a positive outlook for a young man fulfilling a life-long dream… that is until a major injury brings his dreams crashing to a halt, followed by heartbreak when his girl and best friend are caught in a very compromising position.
Nick loses it and ends up being arrested for assault and battery – his promising career in tatters makes way for a major fall into the pit of despair.
Help is at hand when an American sports psychologist is hired by the club to help aid in Nick’s recovery – a new found ally and a friendship based on honesty is born… until that line between doctor and patient blurs and unstoppable forces set out to destroy everything they have both worked for…
And oh my goodness, what a joy this book was. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect as I’m not much for sport (Although I do enjoy a bit of rugby from time to time) but I found myself falling deeper in love with Nick and Anna’s plight – not just for the connection and love they shared, but for the sport itself.
A bloody hard slog with the scars to prove it showed so much passion that it was impossible not to get sucked in and that can only be contributed to Stuart Reardon’s passion and drive for the game. His portrayal of the industry and the public persona that comes with being a sporting celebrity has the ability of raise as well as destroy a person’s life and career. All it takes is one false move, one mistake and it’s ‘game-over.’
I also love a well rounded, smart and strong heroine and Dr Anna Scott had all of those keen attributes.

The next book in the internationally bestselling mafia series…
All is lost. All. I don't recognize myself in the mirror anymore. My thoughts are filled with hatred and dripping with rage. I've lost my soul. She took it to the depths of Hell with her and haunts me with images of what could have been. Sixty lives are mine to take. Sixty lives stand in the way of my vengeance. Sixty lives plus one more. Mine. When the last drop of blood falls — mine will be spilled. Only one person stands in the way. She doesn't realize I'll kill her too. I don't own a heart. And even if I did — I wouldn't fall prey to its lies again. I am Chase Abandonato. Heir to a legacy of betrayal. And I will kill them all. Even if it means pointing the gun at myself. A life for a life. A soul for a soul. Now I lay me down to sleep… I pray the Lord my soul to keep. Blood in. No out.
