I have a history of picking the wrong guy. Gay? Player? Momma’s boy? Check, check and check.

Now I can’t stop fantasizing about one of the customers at the coffee shop I work at between classes. It’s just a harmless crush, right? It’s not like I ever see this guy outside of the coffee shop. It’s not like I’m going to see him while attempting to get birth control at the student clinic. While wearing a paper gown. While sitting on an exam table. Because he’s the doctor. Shoot. Me.
But what if, for once, the man I’ve had the dirtiest, most scandalous fantasies about turned out to be everything but wrong?

Sophie is an unlucky in love college student. A 21 year old virgin, she is determined to finally give up her V card to boyfriend Mike, after wasting too long on her last boyfriend who turned out to be gay. So what if she fantasizes about Luke, a customer who comes by every Tuesday to grab a coffee in the coffee shop she works in? He is older, stunning and totally out of her league. No, it’s all about Mike. And to make sure she doesn’t fall into the same pattern as her mother, Sophie has even set up an appointment for the local drop-in clinic to arrange birth control. Imagine her surprise when the object of her fantasies walks in to the consultation room, white coat on and asking her to place her legs in the stirrups…. Oh so wrong!

This was a quick, easy read. Simple in its storyline, it was a fun, light and sexy read. Don’t expect any real depth to the story, it isn’t that type of read. It is however humorous and a genuinely enjoyable romance.

The characters weren’t overly complex. Sophie is your typical college student. Brought up by her grandparents following the death of her mother, she has never been lucky on the man front; but not for lack of trying. Luke, well he is quite a bit older than her, from a completely different background and a successful doctor to boot.  It is just supposed to be about sex, but it wouldn’t be a good story without a few spanners thrown in the works would it?

If you are looking for a light hearted, sexy and easy read that you don’t need to think too much about, this is your perfect read. Could it have had more drama? More light and shade? Well yes, but do you know what? The beauty of this book is its simplicity. Sometimes you want to read a book that you don’t need to think too much about, a book that makes you laugh and that doesn’t take forever to read. Wrong is an enjoyable read from a new author and one that has some great LOL moments.
