Every girl needs a guardian angel—even if he wears black leather. In the first novel of her scintillating True Brothers MC series, Gillian Archer introduces readers to a sexy-as-sin biker . . . and the woman wild enough to tame him. After dinner with the most arrogant man in the world, Jessica Miller is shocked when her blind date tries to maul her in the parking lot. Enter “Zag”: the brooding, bruising alpha male who jumps off his motorcycle and teaches the jerk a lesson he won’t forget. After getting one taste of a bad boy who lives on the edge, Jessica’s hooked. Zag’s willing to give her the ride of her life. But she needs to wrap her arms around his powerful chest and hold on—tight. Zag knows firsthand that the True Brothers MC isn’t for the faint of heart. He only intends to show beautiful, innocent Jessica a few cheap thrills to satisfy her curiosity. But the more he lets her in, the more Zag comes to depend on her gentle touch to help heal the wounds that he’s been denying for so long. Now, a rival gang has set its sights on Jessica, and Zag must step up once again. He just hopes he can go the distance to protect the woman he loves. Includes a special message from the editor, as well as an excerpt from another Loveswept title.

This is the first book I read from Author Gillian Archer.
She has given us a good beginning for the True Brothers MC. You all know how much I love my MC Books!! This book was definitely a great foray for a new MC reader. It is not as violent and insane as some of these books can be. It has its definite drama and spice, but is a much less intense read than usual.
We have the story of good girl Jess who is on another mindless blind date her mother has set her up with… He’s a lawyer, handsome… and a total DUD! And to make it worse, he is a macho can’t take “no” as no idiot who thinks Jess is playing hard to get. Entrance stage right we get super hot alpha male bad ass Zag, who sweeps into the rescue of the damsel. They are of very different leagues, yet this still does not stop them from getting to know each other… and I do mean in the biblical sense!
Enter MC drama that Jess steps in and it is all about protecting her, failing, and dealing with the after math of not only the drama but their to fast to furious relationship.
I am looking forward to reading more from this new to me author.
