Lucas Thorn wasn’t born a cheater. All it took was a single moment—say, a certain disastrous incident on the night before his wedding—and boom. Reputation destroyed forever and always. So now he owns it. He has a lady friend for every night of the week (except Sundays—God’s day and all), and his rules are simple: No commitments. No exceptions.
But a certain smart-mouthed, strawberry blonde vixen is about to blow that all to hell.
Avery Black has never forgiven Lucas for cheating on her sister. And suddenly being forced to work with him is pretty much a nightmare on steroids. Of course, it does afford her the opportunity to make his life as difficult as possible. But no good revenge scheme comes without payback. Because he didn’t become the Lucas Thorn without learning a few things about women.
Now Avery’s lust for vengeance has turned into, well, lust. And if Lucas stops cheating, it’s definitely not because he’s falling in love…

Book 1 in the Curious Liaisons series.

Lucas Thorn likes women. After one very disastrous attempt at a serious relationship, Lucas realised that he was better suited to playing the field. A lady every night of the week, no commitment, no complications and absolutely no attachment. Everyone knows you’re not cheating if they know about it… right?

Avery Black always had Lucas on a pedestal. He could do no wrong in her eyes, until he broke her sister’s heart and hers along with it. So when she finds herself suddenly working for him, sparks will fly, and not in a good way. He was her best friend, but she doesn’t recognise the man he has turned into. But if she looks a bit deeper is the Lucas she knew still there?

I absolutely LOVED this book. It was just what I need after a long run of heavier stories and man did it make me laugh. I’m not going to go into the storyline too much but these two characters soon find themselves in a hole together and the more they try to get out of it, the deeper they fall. It lends for a hilarious story told in dual POV, about two people reconnecting and realising that what has been may not have been all they thought it was after all.

If you are looking for an entertaining romantic comedy with a really sweet underlying love story and lots of belly laughing moments, this book is not one that should be missed. Without doubt my favourite RVD book to date. Can’t wait now for Cheater’s Regret, Austin and Thatch’s book.
