He's a Hollywood A lister. She's literally the girl next door.

A new standalone romance, unrelated to any other books in Louise Bay’s back catalogue.

Matt Easton is fast becoming the next big thing in Hollywood. To take that extra step to the bonafide A-list he knows he needs to reel back the playboy party loving lifestyle tag that the press have attached to him; with good reason. Wanting to secure the main part in the next franchise by an award winning director he has a fake relationship and has chosen a quiet, remote place to rent in beautiful Maine where he is filming, away from the cast, crew and most importantly temptation. Little does he know the biggest temptation he has ever faced in his life lives next door.

Lana Kelly has lived in a small coastal town in Maine most of her life. Having gone to NYC for college, she returned realising that small town life is safe and vowed to keep a low profile, even if that means that her jewellery design company remains a small business rather than a huge success given her talent. Sworn off men following a bad experience, she meets her new next door neighbour. Sexy, friendly and everything that she finds attractive, she soon finds herself spending more and more time with him. What she doesn’t realise is who he is, what it will mean to her private life and of course the exposure being with him means; especially when she has fought so hard to keep privacy such a priority in her life.

Another enjoyable read from Louise Bay. Her talent for engaging writing and creating interesting relatable characters continues in this book. Not the fastest paced book of hers that I have read, however it certainly kept my attention with the undeniable chemistry that Matt and Lana have; even if they both fight it for very different reasons. There are plenty of laughs, love and very sexy moments and it felt like I was reading a genuine love story with all the ups and downs that comes with finding the love of our lives at a time and place we least expect.

Louise Bay is very much become a 1-click author for me. I haven’t read one book by hers that I haven’t enjoyed. Hollywood Scandal is another book to add to a collection of great stories wrote by this talented author.

Duke of Manhattan is a standalone romance, but for fans of Louise Bay you will recognise some characters from both King of Wall Street and Prince of Park Avenue. If you haven’t read these books though, no worries, you will still enjoy this brilliant read.

Scarlett is feeling the desperate need to move on with her life. Only in her 20’s, she is still reeling from her divorce 2 years ago from her childhood sweetheart. It blindsided her and changed her whole life and the direction she thought she was going in. So it is her work life that is giving her the most happiness at the moment. Being part of the success of Cecily Fragrance has really helped distract her. But it is a man she now wants, even if it feels a little odd. She knows she needs to just get back on the saddle and maybe a one night stand just might give her what she needs to take the next step in life.

Ryder is a big fish; not just in the business world of Manhattan, but also in his native England. He is the heir to the Duke of Fairfax title, if he decides he is to marry; something that is never ever going to happen. Variety is the spice of life, especially his sex life, and he has made his own millions he doesn’t need to inherit them. But life is never that easy. So when Ryder’s hard earned empire comes under threat, then a wife might be the only option left.

1 very hot night + 1 unwanted business proposition = A deal that might work for both of them… If only life was that simple.

WOOHOO!!! OMG, I seriously loved this book!

My love for Louise Bay books started with the King of Wall Street. I fell in love with that book and have gone on to read her full back catalogue since then. I have to say, there isn’t one book that I haven’t enjoyed of hers, but KOWS has always been my favourite… until now. I am not going to say any more about the storyline, but it is one of those stories that I struggled to put down. I loved watching them both get over their hang-ups and they seriously made the pages sizzle.

For me this book is Louise Bay at her best. Full of angst, with bites of humour and lots of steam, it also has a real sweetness about it. You will love Scarlett and absolutely adore Ryder. But are they destined to become the Duke and Duchess of Fairfax? Well I will leave you to find that out for yourself. I just hope that we get a couple more stories; Violet and Darcy both need to find their perfect men.

Another MUST READ from a really talented storyteller.

THE PRINCE OF PARK AVENUE FINALLY MEETS HIS MATCH IN A FEISTY MANHATTAN PRINCESS.
I’ve made every one of my billions of dollars myself—I’m calculating, astute and the best at what I do. It takes drive and dedication to build what I have. And it leaves no time for love or girlfriends or relationships.
But don’t get me wrong, I’m not a monk.
I understand the attention and focus it takes to seduce a beautiful woman. They’re the same skills I use to close business deals. But one night is where it begins and ends. I’m not the guy who sends flowers. I’m not the guy who calls the next day.
Or so I thought before an impatient, smart-talking, beyond beautiful heiress bursts into my world.
When Grace Astor rolls her eyes at me—I want to hold her against me and show her what she’s been missing.
When she makes a joke at my expense—I want to silence her sassy mouth with my tongue.
And when she leaves straight after we f*ck with barely a goodbye—it makes me want to pin her down and remind her of the three orgasms she just had.
She might be a princess but I’m going to show her who rules in this Park Avenue bedroom.
A sexy, standalone, contemporary romance.

Park Avenue Prince is a standalone romance, however anyone who has read King of Wall Street will already know our heroine Grace. You do not need to have read the latter to enjoy this book, however please do as it really is a great book and introduces you to the characters that pop up throughout this one.

Grace Astor has lived a privilege life. Brought up on the Upper East Side and living in one of the most exclusive apartment blocks on Park Avenue, you would expect a Princess. But one thing Grace wants more than anything is to find her own way in life, not relying on her family money to get what she wants. So she has never dated anyone deemed of her social standing, refuses to live in Manhattan and has financed the opening of her new gallery by herself. Her opening exhibition is as exciting as it is frustrating. Having to promote her cheating ex isn’t ideal, but she is determined to make it a success. When a certain patron catches her eye, she immediately puts him in the, so not my type category. Billionaire types are everything she is trying to escape, but little does she know that Sam Shaw is doing some escaping himself.

Sam Shaw has come from nowhere to be a mega successful property magnet. He is all about investment and what will keep its value. He forms no attachments with people, personal effects or property. He knows what it is like to lose everything and he is determined to never feel that pain again. Until one day, whilst looking for art to invest his wealth in he meets Grace. He knows he has to have her, even if it is just sex. But as much as he wants to invest his money wisely, maybe Grace might become his best investment of all.

I really love this author’s work. It all started with King of Wall Street for me, and I have very quickly made my way through her entire back catalogue. When I realised that she was going to release another book connected to KOWS, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it.

This book certainly has a different pace to its predecessor; it felt more elegant given their surroundings and Grace’s love of fine art. Both characters come with their own issues that slow the onset of romance somewhat. That’s not a bad thing, I would hate reading the same book repackaged with different characters. But for me it meant that I didn’t warm quite as quickly to Sam, but man by half way I was swooning. He is a complicated man, a man I eventually felt sympathy towards big time. But he makes some dick moves and Louise Bay certainly keeps you guessing with him longer than other male characters she has developed. As for Grace, well I already loved this girl. She should be a Paris Hilton type, but she is as far from that as could be. Is she a little self-destructive in her choice of men… abso-bloody-lutly, but this girl is a rebel with a massive heart; I adored her.

So for fans of Louise Bay, this is an absolute MUST. Would I recommend it for newbies? Well I would definitely start with King of Wall Street first. This is a much more of a slow burn romance, which although shows off how Louise can be diverse in her writing, I think it would be much better read after be introduced via Max King.

Another enjoyable read and I look forward to what comes next. This author puts out great romance books and I hope this isn’t the last we have seen of the New York crew. Scarlett and Violet definitely need to find their men.

Ever wanted to fast forward to your happily ever after?
My name is Mackenzie Locke and I’m a loveaholic. I haven’t got a handle on men. Not even a little bit.
So I staged an intervention and booked me and my two best friends into Love Rehab, complete with a love shaman, horse therapy and a bunch of stones that promise to change my life. I’m not leaving until I’m cured.
Lesson #1: the first night of your stay, don’t have a one night stand with the hottest guy you’ve ever seen in your life.
Fail.
Lesson #2: make sure your one night stand isn’t planning on sticking around, teasing you, tempting you right back into his Levis.
Big Fail.
Lesson #3: Whoops. I forgot this one. I was too busy daydreaming about Blake McKenna’s mouth on mine and the way his five o’clock shadow feels on my thighs.
Epic Fail.
So maybe I’m not the best student. Maybe I wasted my time and money on Love Rehab. But I can’t help that I want to spend every minute with Blake, naked under the stars. Perhaps he can teach me every lesson I ever needed to learn.

Love Rehab is a standalone and does not relate to any other titles by this author.

MacKenzie is at a crossroads in her life. A self-confessed loveaholic, she has just be dumped by her 3rd fiancé and is perplexed at how she seems to be getting it so wrong. In a last ditch attempt to stop rushing into relationships that go nowhere, she stages her own intervention and heads to Oklahoma with her 2 best friends in the hope that Love Rehab will give her the answers she seeks. What she doesn’t expect is to fall at the first hurdle and have a one night stand with Blake, who she meets in the town’s only bar. And when a one night stand turns into more, is she falling into old patterns? Or is Blake going to teach her more about herself than Love Rehab actually is.

ppr-em-med

I really enjoyed this book. I am going through a bit of a Louise Bay binge after reading King of Wall Street, and I am loving all her work. Love Rehab is a bit of a departure from the previous books of hers that I have read. Where they take place in big cities like London, New York, Chicago, Love Rehab’s back drop is a back water in Oklahoma. I loved how 3 girls from Boston struggled to adjust to country life and the back to nature rehab of camping, horses and shamans; I found myself giggling away on more than one occasion. But obviously, although in the most light-hearted, this is a romance about 2 people from different backgrounds who have so much in common and have both reached crossroads in their lives, so it is more than just a fluff fest.

So as much as I loved the secondary characters in this book, Louise Bay makes sure that Mackenzie and Blake shine bright. They both find a kindred spirit in the most unlikely of places and at a time that isn’t the best. It is romantic and will give you that warm feeling in your belly, before making you hot with their sizzling chemistry. But don’t expect a straight forward, cookie cutter HEA, this book has more about it than that.

Another great read from an author that is becoming an automatic 1-click for me.

THE KING OF WALL STREET IS BROUGHT TO HIS KNEES BY AN AMBITIOUS BOMBSHELL.
I keep my two worlds separate.
At work, I’m King of Wall Street. The heaviest hitters in Manhattan come to me to make money. They do whatever I say because I’m always right. I’m shrewd. Exacting. Some say ruthless.
At home, I’m a single dad trying to keep his fourteen year old daughter a kid for as long as possible. If my daughter does what I say, somewhere there’s a snowball surviving in hell. And nothing I say is ever right.
When Harper Jayne starts as a junior researcher at my firm, the barriers between my worlds begin to dissolve. She’s the most infuriating woman I’ve ever worked with.
I don’t like the way she bends over the photocopier—it makes my mouth water.
I hate the way she’s so eager to do a good job—it makes my dick twitch.
And I can’t stand the way she wears her hair up exposing her long neck. It makes me want to strip her naked, bend her over my desk and trail my tongue all over her body.
If my two worlds are going to collide, Harper Jayne will have to learn that I don't just rule the boardroom. I’m in charge of the bedroom, too.
The King of Wall Street is a sexy, stand alone, contemporary romance.

King of Wall Street is a standalone romance that is unrelated to any other books by Louise Bay.

Harper Jayne had one dream after graduation; to work for the King of Wall Street. Having achieved it, she is now working as a junior researcher at King and Associates; she should be living the dream, shouldn’t she? Alas, it has been a huge disappointment and for one reason in particular. Max King is an arrogant, rude arsehole. Even if he is the hottest guy she has ever laid eyes on.

Max King. Successful business man and loving single father. He has it all, or does he? He prides himself on being able to maintain the perfect separation between his professional and private persona’s and for one very good reason; his 14 year old daughter Amanda. That is until a certain junior researcher comes to work for him. She is a complete distraction and as irritating as a bad skin reaction. But she could also be Max’s game changer.

Max King is mine… just saying!!

PEm circle 200

I have to say, I rarely read this genre of books anymore, the typical business man meets lowly employee. Not because I don’t like them, more a case of having overdosed on them post Christian and Gideon. But very occasionally a book will catch my eye. This book had every element that draws me in. The title, cover and synopsis were punchy and I had to give it a go. The author was new to me, but I will willing to dip my toe, and let me tell you I am seriously glad I did.

The story line flows and is sexy and humorous. But it also builds into a real romance that has you hoping these 2 stubborn characters can step out of their normal MO’s to see how perfect they can be for each other.

Harper is one seriously feisty chick. She doesn’t take any shit and makes Max work. But she also has a real sensitive side due to real daddy issues. You then have Max who I just fell in love with. The perfect father, he has sacrificed his own love life so that his daughter can have his undivided attention when he isn’t being the King of Wall Street. Neither has much experience in relationships and lots of mistakes will be made, but along with the secondary characters, who really added to the storyline, it makes for a bloody great read.

If you used to be a lover of this genre, but like me fell out of love with it, I urge you to read this book. The writing is brilliant and the storyline and characters engaging. There is a genuine reason this book has over 40 5 star reviews on Amazon UK alone. I will certainly be reading more of Louise Bay’s titles in the future that’s for sure.
