EVEN THE BROKEN, THROUGH LOVE, CAN FIND GRACE...
Secrets never stay hidden.
The burden of guilt never lifts from the heart.
Born and raised in The Order of David, Sister Phebe knows nothing but cult life. Head of the Sacred Sisters of New Zion, Phebe was groomed from childhood for one purpose: to seduce. Prized as a harlot, as a New Zion whore, Phebe is taken from the doomed cult by Meister, the notorious leader of the Aryan Brotherhood. Taken as his possession. Taken to be the woman who will obey his every sexual demand. Under his heavy hand, Phebe finds herself in a place much worse than she could ever have imagined... with absolutely no one to help. And no glimpse of hope.
Xavier ‘AK’ Deyes is content with his life as Sergeant-At-Arms of the Hades Hangmen. Leader of the infamous ‘Psycho Trio’ and ex-special ops sniper, AK knows how to fight. Experienced in warfare and schooled in military operations, AK is vital to the Hangmen. When his Vice President needs help retrieving his missing sister-in-law, Phebe, from a Klan-funded trafficking ring, AK volunteers to go in. AK remembers the red-head from New Zion. Remembers everything about her from the single time they met—her red hair, blue eyes and freckled face. But when he finds her, heavily drugged and under Meister’s control, her sorry condition causes him to remember more than the beautiful woman he once tied to a tree. Saving Phebe forces hidden demons from his past to return. A past he can never move on from, no matter how hard he tries.
As AK fights to help Phebe, and in turn she strives to help him, they realize their secret sins will never leave them alone. Kindred broken souls, they realize the only way they can be rid of their ghosts is to face them together and try to find peace.
Despair soon turns to hope, and damaged hearts soon start to heal. But when their deep, painful scars resurface, becoming too much to bear, the time comes when they must make a heavy choice: stay forever damned; or together, find grace.

Another amazing book by Tillie Cole!

I breathlessly wait for each installment of the Hades Hangman series.  It is one of the most original MC series I have ever read.  Mixing a religious cult and a hardcore MC is insane!  And Tillie weaves an amazing tale.

In this 5th installment, we get the story of Sister Phoebe.  We have read about her already.  How she was the Head Sister of the Order.  She is carrying an insane amount of guilt on her blinded treatment of her sisters.  Her heart is heavy with a secret that almost breaks her.  Lucky for her, a Hangman caught her eye, and will save her or die trying.

Xavier ‘AK’ Deyes is the Sergeant-At-Arms of the Hades Hangmen.  He has seen with his own eyes the devastation heaped on these women.  He has helped bring them to salvation.  There is one more he will save.  He sees his brothers in love with these souls… and he wants the same. Carrying his own heavy heart with a shattered past, at the very least, he will save his Red.

Phoebe and Ak are haunted.  They live in the past, and can not see a future.  They live day by day…but they are not truly alive.  The smiles they rarely smile are just a front.  They are dedicated and find in each other, the same broken soul.

Their journey is like nothing you have ever read!  So please read this asap!

AK will blow your mind in this new 5th installment of the Hades Hangmen series by the wickedly talented Tillie Cole.

Raw, gritty, dark but undeniably extraordinary, AK and Phebe’s story is a tough read, but like every other book in this series, it holds a redeeming quality that just has you falling for the MC bad boy.

AK’s backstory was gripping and heart-breaking. We learn about his family and his close relationship with his Brother that saw them both touring together with the Marines – what follows from his time as a dead-shot sniper is the crux to this slow burn love story that is thwarted with gory and horrifying details of the trials both these characters have faced. It’s no easy or pretty read, but a great addition to the series that reunited me with some of my favourite characters.

The character however that shone for me on this occasion was Vike. The guy is hilarious and I cannot wait for his book. He’s really grown on me and out of the Psycho Trio he’s the one that can put a crazy smile on your face whilst questioning your own sanity.

I didn’t love this book as much as Ky or Flames story but it was a great read nonetheless and I’m really excited to see how this series progresses in the future as some new young blood has been added into the mix. My hope is Tillie keeps going, if there were ten books I wouldn’t mind as I would happily read every single one.

If you’re not easily shocked and can handle graphic scenes of torture and female degradation then put those big girl pants on and start this series!

This must be read in order for character and plot progression. These books, in my opinion, are not standalone novels.

A beautifully told classical love story with all the feels. Tillie Cole has presented herself as a true master of the written word, she can literally put her hand to anything and A Veil of Vines is a true testament to her diversity.

From Italian royalty and riches to a poor winemakers son, this book was a truly beautiful romance providing the perfect escapism. I enjoyed every moment.

If you hold a love for the more whimsical, classic, atmospheric romance without angst and strong sexual references, then make this book your next read.

This is a standalone romance unrelated to any other book or series written by Tillie Cole.

Caresa Acardi has always dreamt of marrying a Prince. Having been born in Italy to a blue blooded Italian family, she has lived most of her life in Manhattan. Also known as the Duchessa di Parma, royalty and all the hierarchy that goes with it has long since been abolished in her native Italy. But make no mistake, they still hold considerable clout in the landowning gentry that still respect its traditions. Of course part of that tradition is marrying into a family that matches the status of your own, and Caresa soon find herself being shipped back to Italy, to the beautiful Umbrian countryside to marry her fathers’ business partner’s son, Prince Zeno. He is the direct descendant of the crown of Italy and following the recent death of his father, he will be King and she his Queen; albeit in name only.

So finding herself at the House of Savona’s beautiful estate, full of the vineyards that generate their riches, both she and Zeno are resigned to a marriage of convenience… Until Archille.

pp-review-emma

Yep folks, you are so not getting any more from me; okay, well maybe a little.

Let me start by saying that this is a beautiful, classic love story. Once again Tillie Cole switches sub genres and kicks arse. Seriously is there anything she can’t write? Every book she releases shows her growth as a writer. The passion she puts into her books transcends the pages and her writing always reaches out to me, practically yanking into the world she has created. This books is a very atmospheric book, and man does she give you all the feels. I am always so amazed at her talent for being detailed in her storytelling without being wordy. How she can tell you every little detail without boring you. She is in my opinion a genius and this book only cements that for me.

A very unique storyline, I loved the dynamics between all the characters. For all of you thinking this crosses into the offensive for some love triangle situation, be assured that it doesn’t. I never had any doubt that Caresa and Zeno were completely wrong for each other. This is to shore up there wine business and it is what is expected of them. It is the world they were born into and they know they have no other options, despite their misgivings.

Archille is a wine maker and completely different to anyone Caresa has ever met before. She is as fascinated in him as he in her. Of course no good story comes without the twist and although it is a twist, you are led in the way the story is told to not be so shocked by it. That is not a bad thing, it would have thrown the beautifulness of the story if there had been this never saw that coming moment; once you read it, you will totally get where I am coming from.

So again, Tillie Cole gives us perfection. I itch to give this author less than a 5 crown rating because how can she keep generating such amazing, beautifully written stories. But she does and I can’t ever see that changing, so I will keep writing her 5 Crown reviews for her amazing books. A talented writer, who excels in every story she puts out there. Big up Tillie Cole, you have done it again – A MUST READ!

Ravage is a compelling, twisted and addictive dark read and another great instalment in the Scarred Souls series.

‘I had survived the massacre that took my family, but lying here, I realised that the years spent away in hiding I was simply existing. And it took a monster to revive my heart. It took a killer to touch my soul.’ – Zoya

It all started with RAZE; my beautiful broken Bratva, it continued with REAP as we saw two notorious Russian crime families unite in the name of forbidden love, and now Tillie has given us our most tortured character of all in RAVAGE.

At only 12-years-old, Valentin swore to protect his 4-year-old sister from the monsters in the night. Having been subjected to neglect due to a junkie Mother, Valentin and Inessa were two forgotten children living out their days in an orphanage; a place that should have protected them.

They came in the night, the woman in black and the night wraiths that took innocent children away never to be seen again. Valentin head the whispers and for many months managed to thwart the gang by hiding in a secret place with his little sister, until one night his plans where scarpered.

Subjected to severe abuse and slavery and drugged with a manmade cocktail of narcotics that made him obey the most repulsive commands, Valentin became just another number in the underworld of death, that number was #194.

Brutal, scarred and a walking nightmare, #194 also had a secret; he never forgot who he was and what his Mistress has put them through, and one day promises revenge on them all. One last mission, one last hit and the promise of freedom may be in vain but it’s all he can hope for, for his sister’s sake – anything to get her out of the clutches of the Master.

PK circle 200

Zoya Kostava is a Georgian princess. Having watched her family die in a massacred attack and barely getting out alive herself, she has been living in fear and secrecy her entire life. When she hears that her only blood relative and favourite Brother has been found alive and in the company of the enemy, Zoya puts her own safety aside as she seeks out to meet him. Her plans go awry when a fearsome scarred monster captures her spying on his new target.

#194 puts the strange girl through her paces, knowing that one day soon she will break and tell him who she really is, but he never expected her story to resonate so deeply with him.

Two scarred and lost souls find each-other in the most terrifying and darkest of circumstances, as they fight for the freedom they never had and a love believed forever lost to them both.

RAVAGE was another compelling, dark, brutal and twisted read that still managed to capture an innocent and deeply passionate light. Wherever Tillie Cole goes, I am sure to eagerly follow as again, I cannot recommend this series, or her work highly enough.

The Bratva and Georgian fight is on but things are starting to take an exciting and detrimental turn, all in the name of love, brotherhood and ultimately…. Revenge.

I can’t wait for Inessa’s story, coming next!

It has been two days since I finished Deep Redemption and I haven’t picked up another  book since. It is no secret that I adore Tillie Cole; her ability to bleed words onto the page make for an unforgettable reading experience and Deep Redemption did not disappoint, proof that this series just goes from strength to strength.

Rider’s story was the one that I knew would come with a health warning. You cannot betray your MC Brothers and turncoat without going unpunished for your sins. Rider knew it, has accepted there can be no going back and yet as he sits in a dark cell, ashamed, broken and betrayed by his own blood, the prospect of ever finding freedom and being part of a family again turns his destined dream into a living nightmare.

The thought of such abhorrent child abuse acted in gods name within the commune he was destined to lead defies everything he is. Regardless of the Order teachings, Cain could never condone such brutality and in turn has branded him a traitor.

Judas has duped the commune and stolen his twin Brothers identity in order to enact revenge on the Hades Hangmen MC for killing the Elders in the previous book.

Desperate to escape and protect the innocent from his Brothers madness it seems all hope is lost, until her.

PK circle 400

Harmony has arrived from another commune and upon being branded a cursed is thrown in the cell next to Cain. Never revealing his true identity he gives her his road name, Rider as they become acquainted through the wall with quiet whispers.

Harmony may be a cursed but coming from a different commune their ways differed vastly from this new one in Texas. Living in a dark cell may not have been the welcome party she hoped for but Harmony didn’t come alone, she has friends, and those may be their only chance.

But escaping a cell is one thing, bringing down the commune and helping the innocent is another entirely. There may be a way… One way, but for Rider it will be like opening the gates to hell itself.

And OMG I have to say, out of all the Hangmen MC books, Rider is the character who is the most fearless and compassionate. His connection with Harmony is based on trust, hope and a determination to survive the unjust horrors thrown upon them since birth. To escape a world within a world knowing the outside could still prove just as damning.

This book is a non stop fight for freedom and survival whilst nurturing a love story that becomes so vivid and beautifully passionate I just couldn’t put this book down. The depth of emotion, pain and guilt makes way for strength and unrivalled determination as we see this series give birth to our strongest heroine yet. This woman isn’t no pushover, her love for Rider literally turns her into a force to be reckoned with and I absolutely loved her. Compared to the quiet Maddie, tortured Lilah and voice of reason, Mae, Harmony is the spine, the crutch that holds it all together and as a huge fan of this series  it was much welcomed.

Rider,  I can’t tell you what this guy goes through but I can tell you he’s my hero. I cried for him, I learned to respect him, he certainly redeemed himself in my eyes and pushed a brilliant series to a whole new level. I didn’t think much would rival Flame and Maddie’s story but this is up there as one of the best. Tillie Cole does it again!

This is a standalone romance and does not relate to any of the authors previous work.

Very occasionally you will read a book that blows you away; god how I love those books. You think it can’t get much better, and then suddenly you read a book that makes you forget those other books in an instant because it speaks to your soul; it hits you right in the centre of the solar plexus and you just know it will forever imprint itself on you. Those books are rare, they are to be cherished and if you are lucky you may just read 1 or 2 in your whole lifetime. A Thousand Boy Kisses is a rare and special book. I have lived every part of it and it has left me speechless.

I don’t need or want to elaborate on the synopsis. I will be honest, when I begged to be signed up for an advance copy, I hadn’t even read it myself. Tillie Cole books are always a must read for me. I love her writing, her attention to detail, I don’t need to know any more than it’s one of her books. But when I say you need to go into this book blind, I mean it. This book needs to be experienced the way Tillie wanted you to. Avoid those pesky spoiler reviews like the plague, and avoid skipping to the last chapter… believe me you will be seriously tempted.

Princess Emma

So how do I sum up the perfect book? My fingertips have been itching to write this review for the last 3 hours because it evoked so much passion in me. I expected my thoughts to flow with abandon. Alas, in reality and I have been sat here for the last 20 mins wondering how I do this book and the author justice. Plain and simply I can’t. There are not enough superlatives in the English language.

All you need to know is that this is a breath-taking story of 2 soulmates, born to partner the other through life. It is utterly beautiful in its simplicity, yet the characters words and phrasing have a sincerity that transcends the page and just hit you where it hurts. I feel like I have been rolled over by an emotional juggernaut. It is as heart-warming as it is heart breaking and is a story of innocent love, of friendship, forgiveness, of healing and of course a lasting love for all infinity. In the words of Poppy, it is as special as special can be. We all hope indeed dream to find this type of love in life. For those of us who are lucky enough to have found it, it is a lesson on how important it is to hold onto it with everything we have.

For those of you who are put off by the YA label, please don’t be. This eclipses any book in that genre, indeed in any genre. This book is literature at its finest. It is a true work of art and one that will stay with me forever. Poppy and Rune hold a part of my soul I will never give back.

To Tillie I say this. You have outdone yourself with this book. How you managed to suppress these characters and their story for 18 months is beyond me. Your words and your talent are effortless and pure class. You are a trail blazer of British flavour and it makes me proud to know that a northern lass from this side of pond is writing books that will entertain and effect so many people’s lives. Thank-you for sharing this story with us. You deserve all the plaudits that this book will bring you.

So if you are wondering, this is of course the best of 2016 so far. It is also Tillie’s best work to date and it is only the second book that I can honestly say turned me inside out. An absolute MUST READ and a rare gem that if I never read a book as good as this again… I will be happy because I have read and experienced this one.

This book surpasses any star rating but if I had to give it any, it would be a thousand, for, it is quite simply, as special as special can be…

Beautifully poignant, emotionally profound and deeply romantic; A Thousand Boy Kisses is a first-love, coming of age book journey of a lifetime.

The synopsis is perfect, for me to try and elaborate on an overview would be a total injustice, as this is one story you must go in absolutely blind.

You know it’s good when you read constantly, bar a bathroom break or two over the course of 7 hours in one sitting. A Thousand Boy Kisses has such a magical innocence that I couldn’t help but be cast under its spell as I fell irrevocably in love with two beautifully crafted characters, that were born inseparable soulmates. A love story that starts from early childhood and one that has the power to last an eternity.

There is no doubt about it, this is the best young adult romance I have EVER READ! And that’s a pretty big statement to make for a blogger but I cannot emphasise enough how Rune and Poppy’s story captivated me so completely. I laughed, I cried to the point of sobbing but there was not a moment where I wanted to stop. Not a moment where I felt I couldn’t carry on. My heart was breaking but it was also smitten. To me, this book is everything.

Tillie Cole has a limitless talent – she excels at everything she puts her hand to and this story goes to prove that her penmanship just goes from strength to strength.

This book is love and light with a touch of inner darkness, wrapped in strength and beauty, and I loved every single word. I’m basking in the epic afterglow, my book loving beating heart bursting at the seams. I almost don’t want to share this story with anyone, I want to own it! I’m protective of these characters and I know that I won’t be able to let them go just yet. Its official, I’m amidst one hell of a book hangover, an ailment that I will never tire of.

If there is one new release this year you need to one-click, this is it!!!!

My best book of 2016, so far… but I feel it would take something quite extraordinary to beat it.

This book deserves infinite stars and that is exactly what I’m going to give it. <3

From the USA Today bestselling Sweet Home Series, comes Sweet Soul, a heart-wrenching story of love in its purest form.
One shy lost soul. One silent lonely heart. One love to save them both.
Life has never been easy for twenty-year-old Levi Carillo. The youngest of the Carillo boys, Levi is nothing like his older brothers. He isn’t dark in looks or intimidating to everyone he meets. In fact, he’s quite the opposite. Haunted by a crippling shyness and the tragic events of his past, Levi spends his days with his head buried in his books, or training hard for his college football team. Too timid to talk to girls, Levi stays as far away as possible and completely on his own… until he saves the life of a troubled pretty blonde, a troubled pretty blonde that might just be the exception to his rule.
Elsie Hall is homeless. Or at least that’s all anyone ever sees. Every day is a fight for survival on the cold streets of Seattle, everyday a struggle to find food and keep warm. Alone in life—a life that’s dangerous and cruel—her will to keep going is an ever-losing battle. In her world of silence, Elsie has given up hope that her life will contain anything but constant heartache and pain… until the beautiful boy she has severely wronged comes to her rescue at precisely the right time.
New Adult novel—contains sexual situations and mature topics. Suited for ages 18 and up.

Book #4 in the Sweet Home series and #3 in the Carillo Boys. This book in my opinion needs to certainly be read after Sweet Fall and Sweet Hope. A lot of what makes the main character who he is relates to events in those books, but regardless of that those 2 books kick serious arse, they really are MUST READS!

Levi Carillo is the youngest of 3 brothers. Where they are dark from their Italian heritage, he is fair. They are confident, loud and in your face; Levi possesses none of those traits. But the biggest difference between him and the 2 men that are so important to him? They can remember the mother that loved them so much and who left them too soon, whereas Levi feels the memory of her slip from his mind more and more each day. The one thing he holds close to his heart is his mother’s rosary, so when it is stolen he is heartbroken and left feeling like he has lost his mother all over again.

Elsie Hall has been homeless for far too long. Living her life in silence and on the streets of Seattle is a constant struggle of safety, finding food and keeping warm and dry. At her lowest and facing uncertainty, a man with the sweetest soul comes to her rescue.

He shouldn’t want to help the blonde haired waif, but he can’t not. For once he has the confidence to be someone else’s strength, but maybe through saving her she could be the one to save him.

Gah… This series seriously shreds me. I love Tillie Cole’s books. Each series she writes is so different in storyline, but that woman puts the A in angst and a big fat capital E in emotion in all of them. But what makes Tillie Cole stand out is she doesn’t shy away from deep and difficult subject matters. I think she has a fetish for pulling out every one of her reader’s emotions and then putting them back with a cherry on top. Believe me, Sweet Soul is no different.

If you have read any of the Sweet Home/Carillo Boys series then you have waited patiently for the youngest and sweetest Carillo’s story. Levi has had it rough. Watching his beloved mother waste away and then die, forced to join a street gang and then watching as his eldest brother went to prison, he is surrounded by love, yet feels so lonely. Shy and introverted, he struggles to fit into the college scene and as for girls… no chance. Elsie becomes important very quickly and his need to protect and save her only reinforces the sweetness of who he is. As for Elsie? Well all you need to know is that at 18 she is living on the streets and has been on and off for most of her life. She has done what is necessary to survive, but eventually that has led her to an angel.

This book is as beautiful as it predecessors and exactly what was needed to round of an amazing series. If you haven’t met the Carillo’s I implore you to do so. For me it is a series that I won’t ever forget, with characters that will stay with me for years to come. Tillie Cole has done it again – A MUST READ BOOK, indeed, A MUST READ SERIES!
